Terms of Service
Effective and last updated: September 5, 2026
Version: 2.8
These Terms form an agreement between you and Volodymyr Lozynskyi, based in Spain (Reunier, we, us) for use of the Reunier website and mobile applications (the Service). By creating an account or using the Service, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter this agreement. Minors may not create an account or use the Service.
Provide accurate information, protect your credentials, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account. Reunier treats actions performed through an authenticated account as actions of that account and does not determine which individual physically performed them. Google and Apple sign-in are optional and also subject to the respective provider's terms.
You may request deletion in profile settings. A 7-day grace period allows cancellation; after final deletion, access and content may be irrecoverable, subject to legally required records and backups described in the Privacy Policy.
2. The Service and rooms
Reunier helps private groups organize rooms, events, and participation. A room has one owner: the account that created it. Ownership is not transferable. Only the owner manages the room and roles and decides whether members may extend paid access. A room may have multiple moderators; each owner or moderator may create events and manages only events they authored. Reunier does not provide co-ownership, succession or a separate payer role and does not arbitrate a group's private access or responsibility arrangements.
An event-invitation link may provide a limited preview before the visitor becomes a room member. That preview is not public discovery and does not grant room access. It shows only the event title, description, type, schedule and participation deadline. Joining still requires a Reunier account and a display name for that room, after which normal room access rules apply. The room owner may revoke the invitation by changing the room invite.
Joining a room allows its members to see information you share there. A member may leave when the feature permits, but information already shared may remain where needed for the room's history or other users' content.
Users may follow an event without becoming a visible participant or confirm their participation. Followers are not displayed to the event author or counted in participant summaries. Optional reminders depend on event status, start time, any participation deadline, notification settings, device permissions, and third-party delivery; delivery at an exact time is not guaranteed.
Closing a room is a separate, reversible action: the room and its data remain available to its existing members and the owner may reopen it. Only the owner may request permanent room deletion. The request must be confirmed through the owner's email and then starts a 7-day cancellation period. During that period the room may still be viewed, but new events cannot be created. Final deletion removes the room and its related operational data. Deleting a room, including one with unused paid time, does not itself create an automatic refund; mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
If a supported calendar integration is available, you may connect it separately from sign-in. Reunier then creates and manages a dedicated Reunier calendar and copies only events in which you participate. Google Calendar synchronization uses a separate OAuth authorization; Apple Calendar synchronization is performed locally by the iOS app through EventKit. A copy can contain the event title, start and optional end time, location text, alerts, and a link back to Reunier. Following an event without participating does not add it to the calendar. Cancelling participation removes that event copy; disconnecting attempts to remove the dedicated calendar and, where applicable, revoke provider access. Synchronization is a convenience feature, may be delayed by provider, device or network failures, and does not replace the event information in Reunier. When participation is synchronized successfully, Reunier may avoid sending duplicate start reminders on the relevant device while following notifications remain independent.
Features, limits, supported platforms, and free tiers may change. We will not retroactively reduce a paid access period without providing an appropriate remedy required by law. The Service is not an emergency, medical, childcare, transport, ticketing, or professional event-management service; organizers remain responsible for real-world events and participant safety.
3. Acceptable use and child safety
Do not use the Service to break the law or others' rights; threaten, harass, exploit, or impersonate anyone; publish unlawful, hateful, sexually exploitative, infringing, fraudulent, or malicious content; expose another person's personal data without authority; send spam or malware; scrape or automate access without permission; bypass security or access controls; disrupt the Service; or commit payment/refund fraud.
Child safety standards
Reunier has zero tolerance for child sexual exploitation and abuse (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). The Service must not be used to create, store, share, request, promote, distribute, or facilitate:
- child sexual abuse material (CSAM);
- sexual exploitation or abuse of minors;
- grooming or sexual solicitation of minors;
- sexualization or sexual exploitation of minors;
- trafficking or exploitation of minors for sexual purposes; or
- any other content or conduct that facilitates, promotes, or depicts child sexual exploitation or abuse.
These prohibitions apply even though Reunier is intended exclusively for users aged 18 or older and minors are not permitted to create accounts or use the Service.
Users may report suspected child sexual exploitation, abuse, CSAM, or other violations of these standards at support@reunier.com. Reports concerning child sexual exploitation or abuse will be treated as a priority.
When we become aware of content or conduct that may violate these standards, we may remove or restrict content, restrict rooms, suspend or terminate accounts, preserve relevant evidence where permitted or required by law, and take other necessary and proportionate measures.
Reunier complies with applicable child-safety laws and reporting obligations. Where we identify CSAM or other conduct that must be reported under applicable law, we will report it to the appropriate authorities or organizations as required.
Child safety contact: legal@reunier.com
We may otherwise investigate, remove content, restrict rooms, suspend accounts, preserve evidence, or report conduct when reasonably necessary and proportionate. Except for urgent safety or legal cases, we will give notice and an opportunity to respond where practicable. Mandatory appeal or redress rights remain unaffected.
Where the interface provides it, users should report a room, event, or room participant from that context. Reunier may preserve a proportionate snapshot of the reported context so the report can still be assessed if the underlying content changes. Report status and support replies are available in the reporting user's profile. Reunier is not an emergency service; immediate danger should be reported first to local emergency services or authorities.
4. Content and intellectual property
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, copy, process, transmit, display, and adapt that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service and comply with law. The license ends when the content is deleted, except for lawful retention, backups, and content that must remain available to other users under applicable digital-content rules.
You warrant that you have the rights and permissions needed for your content, including personal data about invitees or participants. Reunier software, branding, and our content remain ours or our licensors'. We give you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the Service for its intended personal or internal group purpose.
5. Prices and purchases
Paid room sizes and purchase channels may be unavailable during the beta. If paid access is offered, the room owner activates the room and controls whether current members may extend it. When enabled, a member may add periods through a one-time purchase or redeem a transferable, single-use voucher that exactly matches the room capacity. A voucher is a gift coupon for room-access periods, not a payment or discount. Paying or redeeming a voucher does not transfer ownership or grant room-management permissions. The checkout shows the seller, product, room capacity, number and length of access periods, total price (including applicable taxes where stated), currency, and payment channel before purchase. Paid room access is sold as explicit, non-renewing 30-day periods. Reunier does not renew or charge for another period automatically; each extension requires a new, explicit purchase.
Transactions may be administered through RevenueCat and processed by Stripe (web), Apple App Store (iOS), or Google Play (Android). The payment provider's terms also apply. Reunier does not store full card details. Access begins after the provider confirms a successful purchase. Provider or network delays can postpone activation.
6. Withdrawal, refunds, and conformity
If you are an EU/EEA consumer buying at a distance, you generally have 14 days to withdraw, subject to statutory exceptions. If you expressly request immediate performance during that period, you may have to pay a proportionate amount for service already supplied. You lose the withdrawal right only where the legal conditions are met, including the required express consent/acknowledgment for fully performed services or applicable digital content.
To withdraw, send an unequivocal statement identifying your account and purchase to support@reunier.com before the deadline. You may use this wording: “I hereby withdraw from my contract for [product], ordered on [date], account email [email], name [name], date [date].” Nothing in these Terms asks you to waive a right without the legally required checkout disclosure and action.
For provider-managed purchases, you may also need to use Apple, Google Play, or Stripe/provider procedures. We will assist where Reunier is the responsible seller. Any voluntary refund for wholly unused future 30-day periods is subject to the offer displayed at purchase and technical/provider availability; the current Service does not promise an in-app refund function. Chargebacks are not a substitute for contacting support, but lawful chargeback rights are unaffected.
Mandatory rights concerning supply, conformity, updates, price reduction, termination, refunds, and digital content cannot be excluded. Report activation errors or lack of conformity to support with the transaction identifier.
7. Availability and changes
We use reasonable care to provide and secure the Service but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Maintenance, outages, safety measures, and third-party failures may affect access. We may modify or discontinue free features. For paid digital services, material modifications and remedies will follow applicable consumer law, including advance notice and termination rights where required.
8. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for a material or repeated breach, fraud, serious security risk, legal requirement, or nonpayment. Measures will be proportionate. Termination does not remove accrued payment obligations or provisions that by nature survive, including ownership, lawful retention, and dispute terms. Mandatory rights to retrieve eligible non-personal content are unaffected.
9. Privacy and third parties
The Privacy Policy explains our data processing. RevenueCat, Stripe, Apple, Google (including Google Sign-In, Google Calendar, Google Play, Firebase, and Google Maps), and Resend may have their own terms and notices. We are not responsible for independent third-party services, but this does not limit responsibility that applicable law assigns to us.
10. Disclaimers and liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed, or for business losses arising from consumer use. We are not responsible for user-organized events or user content merely because it is transmitted through the Service.
Nothing excludes or limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, breach of mandatory digital-service conformity duties, data-protection liability, or any other liability or consumer remedy that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
11. Governing law and disputes
Spanish law governs these Terms, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections of their country of habitual residence. Courts are determined by mandatory procedural and consumer law; these Terms do not require a consumer to litigate exclusively in a court that the law does not permit.
Please contact support@reunier.com first so we can try to resolve a complaint. This does not restrict access to courts, consumer authorities, or any applicable alternative dispute-resolution mechanism.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms for legal, security, technical, or service reasons. We will state the effective date and give reasonable advance notice of material changes where required. Changes do not retroactively alter completed purchases. If law requires consent, the change applies only after consent; otherwise, continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance, and you may stop using the Service before then.
13. General
If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder continues to apply and the provision is limited only as necessary. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer this agreement without our consent; we may transfer it with the Service subject to applicable notice and consumer rights. These Terms and documents expressly incorporated at checkout are the agreement concerning the Service.
